Foynes Flying Boat and Maritime Museum USA
Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum USA, Inc. is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the world-famous museum in Foynes, Ireland.
From historic flying boats to maritime treasures, we help preserve a unique chapter of global history and give US supporters the chance to play their part.
Our mission is simple: support Irish aviation history by raising awareness and funding for the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum. As a US-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, we raise awareness, fund restoration and exhibition projects, and help the museum continue to inspire visitors from around the globe.
On the banks of the River Shannon in County Limerick, Ireland, the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum tells the story of a time when aviators and glamorous passengers crossed the Atlantic by air for the first time. From 1937 to 1945, Foynes was the hub of transatlantic aviation, welcoming flying boats, Hollywood stars, political leaders, and adventurers from around the world.
Every gift from our US supporters helps keep this history alive. When you donate to an Irish museum from the USA, you help:
Fund restoration of rare aircraft, maritime artefacts, and archival collections.
Support educational programmes that connect young people with aviation and maritime history.
Celebrate the transatlantic journeys that linked two nations in friendship and innovation.
Help develop immersive exhibits and interactive displays.
