Getting to Foynes from Limerick

Bus Éireann busWe are often asked the best way to get to Foynes for a museum visit. Now there is a simple way to visit us from Limerick. Bus Éireann has established Route 314, named after our famous Boeing 314 replica, from the Limerick bus station to the Ballybunion Post Office.

The service operates from 6:15 until 19:15 (7:15pm) weekdays with some departures on weekends and holidays as well. The trip takes an hour and 11 minutes, depending upon traffic. As an example, if you took the 11:00 departure, which runs every day, you would arrive around 12:11, just in time for a nice lunch before exploring the museum.
